1) i am an angel of death
i was born of fire 
horns coated in collick
i growled at the priest
who tried to extinguish me
         baptism up in flames

2) i am a sex siren
i was born of water
back barbed with urchin spines
i felt so ugly for so long
until he parted the sea
          fucked open my shell

3) i am a mere mortal
i was born of flesh
my body can’t be a prison
it feels so warm to sleep in
and soft against stone,
           in time, i will die
